The girl "Beli" revolves around an ordinary girl who wishes to achieve higher education but sees no way to achieve it than working as a domestic help in 'sahu's' home at the town. She hails down from a remote village where her mother along with her brother struggles for survival.
The act moves forward amidst the wish of education of a village girl, chaotic and busy urban life. The drama well portrays busyness and limitations of city dwellers. When she goes to leave 'Sahu's' son and daughter,"Beli" everyday encounters with school's yellow bus. That yellow bus impulse her wish of education.
The act, in its background, well depicts the struggling and difficult life of poor villagers in the city.
The unfulfilled wish of the lead role raises several contemporary and touchy questions to the audiences at the end.

About the Group
School Theatre Nepal (STN) is an organization run by Nepali theatre artists with theatrical experience of more than two decades. The main objective of the group is to link Child Education and Theatre through theatre events and training for children. School Theatre Nepal has been successfully running 'Lalabala', a regular theatre training class for school-children since 2014. STN regularly run “Lalabala”, child centric and intensive theatre workshop, to train children in acting skills and provide a platform for students to hone their theatrical skills by organizing events. Many of graduates of the course are now working as child actors in films, television, music videos and stage dramas. Similarly, STN develops and implements school and college level theatre curriculum.
School theatre Nepal will organize international children's festival, national solo theatre festival, and national school theatre festival every year. We have an experience of participation in different international festivals in various countries.
